JANEEMO films

Two films have been produced for school children of all ages.

"Joseph's Road: See the world through the eyes of a young Malawian man, Joseph Tenson. Like many teenagers, he goes to school and enjoys hanging out with his friends, but dreams of moving away to seek his fortune. At home in the village, the effects of a changing climate are being felt and forests are being cut down. A new initiative, Janeemo, is planting trees for renewable bioenergy, food and medicine. Could this change Joseph's choices for the future?

Janeemo film: this informational film introduces the Janeemo initiative, its trees and their uses, including farmer interviews and demos showing the uses for seeds, leaves and wood.
