JANEEMO showcased at Copenhagen climate summit

The JANEEMO education infofilm is being shown at the Development and Climate Days Annual Film Festival, a side event to the COP15 Climate Change conference in Copenhagen.

The festival is showing short climate change films that raise awareness, share ideas, and convey important messages in a creative and engaging way. Only amateur and independent productions are being shown.

The JANEEMO infofilm is forming part of an education pack for Scottish schools, which will be formally launched in February. A further documentary film is currently being edited, and will be ready in early 2010.

A final edit of the info film can be viewed here http://vimeo.com/7361131

JANEEMO uses a combination of three trees, grown on marginal land, to provide an additional resource to food and other crops. It also generates income, provides renewable energy, food and medicine and encourages enterprise and trade.
